    Product Description

      All martial arts uniforms use sizing system that's different than typical children's sizing. Check the sizing chart, to get the right size the first time

      If your little guy or girl is ready to get involved with the martial arts, this uniform is the perfect choice. Macho utilizes a smaller cut to accommodate the proportions of a child. The gi itself is made out of ultra lightweight 5oz material that kids will find comfortable and fun.

      This gi is a traditional cut and is offered in very small sizes. The pants utilize and elastic waist with drawstring to provide easy wear. White belt included.

    great product for low $

    OK, I bought this uniform for my daughter. She is petite and I was not sure, if this uniform will fit or feel right etc. After package arrived- very quickly I might add- all my worries went away. Quality of material was awesome. It fit her perfectly. It is light weight but yet strong, durable. This is not my first time with Karate Depot and I will always be a returning customer.

    You could, although jujitsu specific uniforms tend to handle grabbing and pulling better.

    My 4 year old grandson wanted a Karate outfit to play in; maybe an unusual purchase for most. But he absolutely LOVES this item!!
    My daughter was in Tae Kwon Do when she was younger and this fabric was very close to the uniform fabric that she had.
    This appears to be of very high quality and we are very satisfied.
    We would tell others to order this item.

    Kids Starter Gi

    This uniform is very light weight & perfect for kids when you're not sure if they will stick it out in karate and if they will be growing fast because you haven't invested too much money.

    Gi's seem fine after waiting 32 days to get them. No matter what the quality, I will never be ordering from this company again.

    Hi Linda. I don't really know how the 3T sizes match up to uniforms, so instead of guessing I'd like to recommend you check out the sizing charts at the very bottom of this page. If you get a couple of measurements for your grandson you should be able to figure out the best possible fit.

    Once you have the measurements feel free to write me again and I'll help you navigate the charts below.

    Shrinkage

    My grandson weighs 52 lbs and is 3 feet 9 inches and 6 1/2 years old. The size chart says he needs a #00 but I am concerned with shrinkage...should I get the next size up? Thanks, Grandma Donna

    Hi Grandma Donna. You have two options I think. One is to get the #00 and wash it only in cold water, letting it hang dry (never use the dryer). That should minimize all shrinking.

    Conversely you could get the #0 and use some hot water dryer to shrink it on purpose! Either method will work.

    helpful customer service

    I just ordered the kids starter Gi uniform for my son and the customer service representative was a great help when it came to explaining the sizing, which I was unfamiliar with. My son is looking forward to receiving his uniform and after looking at the reviews and the quality of the items, I am sure that a made a great purchase.
