    Product Description
      • Machine washable
      • Thick, 8.5 oz. blended material
      • Uniform includes jacket, pants and belt
      • V-neck top features draw string side vents
      • Elastic drawstring waist

      This uniform is made of a 55% cotton 45% polyester 8oz material. It is designed to withstand intense regular use. The top is a traditional style pull over v-neck with drawstring side vents. The pants have an elastic waist with a drawstring. The uniform includes the jacket, pants and a white belt. The belt is 1-1/2" wide with eight rows of stitching. The uniform features reinforced stitching at the hem, cuffs, and crotch gusset.

    Ridiculous sizing

    Okay, here's one for you. I'm 6'5" (196cm), and I weigh 180lbs (81.6kg). I would love to have a gi that was long enough, but didn't look like I was wearing a tent. Any size suggestions?

    I think you have to go size 6 Peter. It will be baggy for sure, but going down to a 5 would be quite short on you. If you have the means, you can get the size 6 then have it taken in a bit by a tailor.

    Great Heavy-Weight Uniform

    My son has been asking for a "heavier" uniform for months. His first was the 6oz. light weight uniform which is great for a beginner, very reasonable priced but a couple of years and quite a few belt promotions later he deserved a "sturdier" uniform. He's been wearing this now for a couple of months and is very happy with the "snap" of the sleeve.

    It is thicker so he works up a sweat with a serious workout but he loves the feel and look of it. One bad point (so only 4 of 5 stars)...it arrived with one row of the top stitching "undone" around the collar. I wanted to send it back but my son liked the uniform so much, he said it didn't matter to him...it still doesn't. I guess I can just stitch it up myself on my sewing machine.

    The size chart is accurate. My son is 5' and 106 lbs, on the lean side - size 2 fits perfect. I could've got a 3 with room to grow but I'm sure it would've been TOO BIG. I'm sure he'll out grow this one before he out wears it. I'll just have to buy the size 3 at that time. Shipping is fast too. Get this uniform, you won't be disappointed.

    Hi Kathy. A size 2 would be form fitting with little room for shrinking in the wash. A size 3 would be a little baggier but comfortable and able to shrink without becoming useless to you.

    My daughter is 5'1" tall, has a 46" waist. I am planning on ordering a size 5 uniform for her, then having it altered -- legs and sleeves shortened, and waist lowered. Does this sound right?

    Hi MA Mom. Yes a size 4 could work but might be on the snug side if it shrinks in the wash. Size 5 is a safe play.

    Uniform Sizing

    Help! I'm what you might refer to as an irregular shaped guy. I am 5-10" tall and my waist is approximately 36". Which size is correct: 5 or 6? My gut sticks out so I don't want a uniform that's to snug around my waist.

    Go with the size 5. it might require a cuff of the pant legs and sleeves but it would be most comfortable.

    A size 3 would be the best fitting weight-wise, although he might find the sleeves and pant legs a bit short. You may have to bump up to a size 4.

    Great Uniform for kids

    Got this product a month or so ago and the size chart was right on. the delivery was right on time. Just about everything about this is right on. There were some frey threads from the stitching, but that is not a big deal. Had been worn a handful of times and washed intially to soften the fabric (definite recommendation prior to using in class). Will definitely be ordering more as these uniform gets outgrown over the next year or two.

    Belt color options

    Greetings,

    I am curious, can an alternate color belt be substituted for the included white belt? This is a replacement gee, and actually need to get a replacement belt of a different color due to theft, and was curious if this is possible?

    Hi Alex. Unfortunately the uniforms come packaged from the manufacturer with a white belt. Belt color choice is something we have discussed in the past but as of right now the functionality to provide that service is still unavailable.

    i want to buy taekwon do uniform by Macho | #un-ta-09 of $ 29.95 but i want to know my size. my height is 1.75cm, weight 65/70 kg and waist 34 cm.


    its possible to ship to maputo,mozambique? if yes, how much can cost and how many days will take?

    Hi tkd moz. Unfortunately we are a no-go for Mozambique at the moment. International shipping for martial arts equipment can get tricky sometimes, and we don't currently have an agreement with your country.

    Sizing

    Quick question on sizing. I have a size 3 uni from my TKD school. The top fits in all areas but is a bit short. The pants are big in the butt and thighs with length just right. I know different uniforms can fit differently, so I was wondering if a size 4 would better for me regarding this uniform.
    I am 5'5'' and weigh 135 lbs. ??

    It sounds to me like a size 3 of this brand would be best, although size 4 would definitely solve the short top problem. If you encounter similar sizing issues with whichever you choose we can arrange a size swap or return no problem.

    Sharp and reliable.

    I coach TKD and have to say I am very pleased with this uniform. I order it for my students and wear it myself. It's heavy and crisp enough to easily ''snap,'' yet loose enough for full flexibility. I've had mine for 2 years now and it's not showing any wear yet. This is the perfect uniform when you compare price to quality. Good stuff!

    great quality

    Forgot to mention this. Macho sizing chart is bit off. If you weight 150-160 and is at least 5'8'' tall you must choose the larger size. Size 5. I learned my lesson. Anyway, Macho is quality.
