Absolutely dreadful.

Basic Shoes *CLOSEOUT*

These shoes are the least durable and least comfortable I've ever had on my feet. I wore them completely out in 4 weeks. The soles stripped off (starting on the outboard side on each, then the heel), the rear heel cup was tearing, and it does not tighten down at all because the lace only is cosmetic; the heel cup itself relies on a small amount of elastic to provide nearly no support. It does not inspire confident footing at all. For three dollars more, the Pine Tree shoes are DEFINITELY better; I get 6-9 months out of a pair of those; the lace encircles the ankle for a snug fit, they grip both foot and ground better, and are a much better overall value. Steer clear of this Macho shoe; opt for the Pine Tree or a higher end shoe, you will be much happier.
