FANTASTIC PACK!

Bad Boy Zipper Back Pack

Bought this for my daughter who is into Jiu Jitsu. She is totally thrilled with this back pack. It is extremely well made, covered with "Bad Boy" logos and tough enough to last for years and years. Zippers are super heavyweight, stitching is doubled up and plentiful and the bag has shoulder straps that are thickly padded enough to allow super heavyweight gear to be placed inside and carried with ease. It has an amazing top grab that allows it to be hand carried if you wish. A total win/win in my estimation!

Good Self Defense Training Knife

Boot Training Knife

No sharp edges from molding process, tough plastic, semi-realistic. Fits the bill for what it is intended. Very good even for smaller children to use in martial arts practice. Took one star for price. I thought it was too expensive.

Too Thick for the 5' Length

White Wax Tapered Bo

I got this for a friend whose child needed the 5' length. When the bo arrived, it was VERY thick in diameter and I offered to send it back to get a different bo. You would think that the manufacturer would realize that someone small enough to need a 5' bo would have less than adult size hands, but I guess they don't. It is lightweight, but it is also thick and chunky looking and that makes it awkward in forms. I would recommend a different bo for small adults and children. Maybe the longer ones are okay, but the 5' looks and feels awkward to use.

Love it!

Anti-Bacterial Mouthguard Case

Clip is easy on and stays shut. Comes off easy when you want to change bags or clean it. I run it through the dishwasher occasionally when I have a low heat/no heat plastic load. Color makes it easy to find and opens and closes easily and securely. Good Value!

Almost Perfect

Shock Doctor Gel Max Mouth Guard

My daughter has been in martial arts for almost 7 years and this is by far the most comfortable mouth guard we have found for her. I agree with one reviewer in that they tend to run small and we switched to the ADULT size a couple of years ago when she was only 11 or so.

That said, they are fantastic! We have tried a lot of different ones that cost much more than the Gel Max and keep coming back. That says a lot for the Gel Max.

The only reason that I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that because she is a 'chewer', we end up replacing them every month or so. Because they are soft and fit to the teeth, they are less sturdy in the long run and must be replaced more often. That means that I buy them 6 at a time and just keep a couple on hand at all times.

EXCELLENT MOUTH GUARD!

Samurai Bokken With Scabbard

I bought this bokken for my daughter to do entry level practice. I was very pleased with the level of craftsmanship of the sword and its scabbard. I have had many compliments on this bokken and have been pleased with its weight, balance and the realism that comes from having the extras on this bokken above the usual smooth wood of other practice models. Very positive in every aspect.

Well made, shipped in a protective tube that did its job perfectly. Good weight and great balance. Makes a statement when used in front of judges and audiences. I am well pleased with this product.

Sized Large

Complete Middleweight Traditional Uniform

This Gi is well made, but cut very large for the size I ordered. Also, the pants have a weird string tie arrangement instead of elastic and a cord. This makes it very bulky around the waist. I give 5 stars for workmanship and material, 3 stars for fit and waistband.

Best Solution at a Reasonable Price

Shock Doctor Gel Max Mouth Guard

This is a very good guard while being priced in the ''easily replaceable'' category. My daughter is a mouthguard 'chewer' and this offers superior protection with a price that makes it easy to buy several at a time for replacement. At least for her, they are soft enough to be worn down by her teeth clenching during sparring. They still have my highest award. The 4 stars is for a little lack of durability, but that is to be expected. It is harder to find a better mouthguard and I have tried LOTS of THEM!
