I find the quality to be of a professional one, much like my gear for Tang Soo Do. Though tying the simplistic one-string hood is beyond my comprehension, it all looks very authentic. I am 6'2'' and weight about 220lbs. The xl was a little baggy but good to go. The Velcro on gauntlets & tabis are lame, and I plan to replace them with hooks or buttons.

The Deluxe set did not include two very required items; a belt and leggings. The website did not claim to include them, however, it is a pain to have to order them after the fact. I think adding a belt and leggings while removing the bokken from the combo purchase would be a solid and smart choice.   Permalink
