Outdoor Tabi Boots

Haha, these look sweet. I'm a Canadian techy that likes to dabble in all sorts of art forms as a hobby (sketching, digital manips, martial arts, creative writing...). I've been getting into fashion design a little bit lately (still can't sew, but I like to mix and match things I find). I tend to try and blend some traditional styled clothing with modern, and I have to say these boots totally inspired me to make a ninja-esque outfit! So a couple questions arise:

1. Has anyone worn these on day-to-day regular basis? Judging from what I've read, these would last a while, but just thought I'd ask for a more detailed answer, if there is one.

2. I'm a size 7 men's, but I read elsewhere that it was recommended to get a size larger for extra comfort, and again I read to get two sizes smaller. 0-o These sizes reflect American sizes, right (For some reason Canada's sizing reflect American, but are fractionally off). I just want to figure out the correct sizing is all, thanks!

Okay, thanks! If the comfort thing is due to the split toe, then I don't think I need to worry about that. I guess I'll just go with size 7 when I get my next usable paycheck, since it'll probably end up being a cross use outfit (socializing/sports).

Sorry that I posted this as an answer, I couldn't find a better way to do it. Thanks for the help okiken!
