Core type?
Soft Density Foam Nunchaku (Black+Yellow)

I was wondering if these are wooden or plastic core? I can't seem to find a foam covered wood nunchaku similar to what I've had for 25+ years. The plastic core ones normally available are too light , making for a difficult transition to a real set.

A little heavy, but sturdy

Tapered Hardwood Bo

I bought 3 of these in different sizes for myself and my sons. They are very nice and well made. I personally find the 1.25" center a LITTLE too thick for speed and the hardwood is a little heavy, but they are sturdy and survive a beating when first learning and when moving to a thinner, lighter piece makes everything that much easier. I would recommend these for training or even bo-sparring, but for speed and accuracy, get a lighter, thinner carbon fiber or aluminum piece.

Cheap way to meet requirements

Mouth Guard

It's nice to have a cheap alternative. I bought these because of competition requirements in a generally non-contact traditional martial arts program. We require full sparring protection because accidental contact is not uncommon among lower ranks with less control. If you are involved in full-contact sparring, there are WAY better choices, but for my purpose these are great

Nice and well sized

Kuma Headgear

I git this to replace my Macho headgear, which started to split after about a year. the Macho headgear ran small in size based on my measurements, but I took a chance and bought the same size from Kuma. The Kuma of the same size fits WAY better and I suspect will not split as quickly since it's not nearly as tight. Only time will tell, but happy so far!

Great for workouts and competition

Power Compression Short With Bioflex Cup

The compression shorts are great for general workouts and classes. Exceptionally comfortable even with the bioflex cup installed. The only issue I've had is that my 18-year-old son has a 28 waist and says he'd prefer a 'slightly larger' insert... Shock Doctor really does not have a size selection other than for the shorts. Other than that (which is more likely him needing to get used to it), they are great!
