I have found my go to uniform. Price considered; this is probably the best uniform I have ever owned. A lot of attention went into the craftsmanship, great fabric, comfortable, reinforced stress points, slightly longer jacket, great all weather weight and so far it appears tough as hell.

I have heard some negative feedback regarding Macho's sizing, yeah they run a size larger than most not that big of a deal. Their size chart however is right on, just read it. That said, I am usually a 4 (4.5 if they made it) but with Macho I am a 5 and it actually fits better than any of my 4's. In case you were wondering, I am 5'-10" at 180 lbs and this uniform fits like its been tailored. I also bought one for my son and this all goes for his 00 as well. I would have been satisfied had I spent twice as much.

As for Karate Depot, phenomenal as always. Speaking of "go to" you are it for my gear needs, keep up the great work. Oh, and I still think that there is a bit of magic behind your shipping speed, the $2.95 cost aside, awesome!   Permalink

I have worked with a lot of Thai bags over the years and let me say that at this price point this one can't be beat. Very well made, comfortable and good looking. I wasn't expecting too much for $160 shipped, but now I couldn't be happier.   Permalink

This is a great training tool for drawing, returning and solo work. However, the quality is just okay and certainly not good enough for sparring, but for the price, I can't really complain it has a useful purpose.  Permalink

I have two of these and they are good for training with one glaring issue. The weight is good (heavier side) and they are relatively straight. The problem is that both of them have begun splitting along the grain. As you know, this little issue can make working with them interesting. If not for that they would make a good training weapon but because both have done this I can't recommend them.  Permalink

Pretty much a costume accessory, but not bad for training. What I like is that this bends on a stab unlike the more expensive trainers that don't give.   Permalink

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. It is almost as good as an ASP, Redman or any of the other training pistols at 5 times the price. Awesome!  Permalink

I ordered this uniform for the first time from another retailer (sorry, good sale) and I was actually fairly pleased (I expected less). It's comfortable, decently made and for the price ($24), this is a good everyday uniform you can afford to replace every six months.

I looked into these a bit and found that they are regulary returned due to the popping of the air bladder. It appears also that the spring wears out real quick. Just thought I'd share what I found.  Permalink

For a 6 year old these are great and well made. I bought the mediums for him and though the fit is right, they did require what seemed to be an abnormal amount of breaking in/stretching before he was comfortable wearing them. That minor detail considered, I would recommend them for your little ones.   Permalink
