One of My Buddies Uses this Patch in His Classes...
Isshinryu Karate Patch
Nice Patch... many colors for little money. A friend of mine gave me one of thse patches. He uses them in his Okinawan style Karate dojo. I'm surprised that ProForce charges so little for this patch.

Good for Realistic Training...
Rubber Gun
Good training aid with excellent bang for your buck $$$-wise... ah, SORRY for the bad pun but this pistol costs a third of what red gun charges and is OK for general classes.
However, Police Depts. and Academies may still require you to purchase a regulation red or blue gun for training so check before purchasing if your an officer. If your a Martial Arts instructor buy a bunch of these for your students use! You do train your students in gun disarming don't you???

Good Training Bastons...
Longer Lasting Escrima
GREAT for SOLO training but I would NOT recommend for heavy contact sparring... stick to lightweight & somewhat flexible rattan bastons for safeties sake.

Half the Price- With Excellent Quality- of Top Name Japanese Belts!
Pine Tree Deluxe Belt
I've had one since BushI was VP. Belt is VERY STIFF when new but after a decade or two of wear and training it softens. However, be forewarned that ALL the Brands of belts that I have owned shrunk on me after a few decades??? I wonder if this is caused by excess fluoride in my drinking water...
Jokes aside this is a top notch belt for TRAINING. If your a professional collector of plastic trophies, and you dress accordingly, it might be a little too stiff for your costumed use.
Lets Train HARD folks- your life may depend on it!

Hot and Overrated IMO...
Tokaido Traditional Cut Super Heavy Weight Karate Uniform
Hot uniform to wear in humid areas but if just have to have Tokaido on the label purchase it here and save $30 or $40 and feel confident that you have the backing of an honest seller.
I had a VERY bad experience with brand new Tokaido (NOT PURCHASED HERE BTW!!!) pants and I will never purchase Tokaido again NOR will I ever purchase ANYTHING from the store I purchased it from (hint: I have a Japanese Motorcycle with the same as the store name sitting in my garage).
That said I gave the uniform top away to one of my students who needed a new top and he is still using the Tokaido top after nearly a decade!
I have a couple of Pine Tree SuperHVYweight "GrandMaster" M-I-S. Korea Karate uniforms that I bought for 1/3 the $$$ that are every bit as good as the benchmark Tokaido brand MIJ uniforms and are still going strong after 10yrs of use.
Be aware that after a decade of use the Pine Tree gis shrink and you may have to purchase a new larger sized gi. Has be the premium cotton used in the Pine Tree gis that shrinks;-)

Good For Hapkido Too!
Authentic Ninja Uniform with Hood and Mask Set
I bought one of these 100% 9oz cotton black Ninja uniforms (Asian World store brand I believe) for almost nothing about ten yrs ago when a local martial arts store had a going out of bus. sale. Now I'm assuming that this is the same gi so here is what I did...
I took a razor blade and cut off the gauntlets and leg ties and I gave the hood away. Mr. Shin even asked me where I purchased my nice new Hapkido uniform when he had me in a VERY painful lock as I didn't buy if from him? Little did he know that I purchased my new uniform for the price of 2 movie tickets;-)
This inexpensive uniform held up fine for 3 yrs of rough BB Hapkido training. I don't want you thinking that I'm a disloyal student so just for the record I did purchase a HVY weight Sang Sa black Hapkido uniform from Mr. Shin several months later after my wrist was out of the cast!

Good Belt for Moderate Money IMO
Black Belt
Maybe I got lucky but the PF BB I bought two months ago was ALMOST as nice as my Pine Tree for half the $$$. BTW the size 9 belt fits me just fine: 6'4 & 358lbs... ProForce sizing seems to run true IMO.

Nice Non-Comp Judo Gi for Cheap!
Black Single Weave Judo Uniform
4 Star rating for good value for $$$ My single weave uniform, which I have owned for several years, is almost as thick as some of my premium DBL weave Judo uniforms... The listing for this gi says lightweight material so my gi may be an alternate model no longer sold or carried by PF???
I'd suggest that, as with ALL M-I-Pakistan uniforms that you purchase at least 1 size larger than normal... Also wash in COLD water with a cup of salt to set the black dye into the cotton material before heading out to the dojo- at least that is what I do with new black gis- YMMV....

Nice KD Size 9 BB
Karate Rank Belts
A nice 1&3/4" training belt for almost no money so I gave it 5 Stars. However, my size 9 Proforce BB is longer and a little nicer IMO- but it cost me $19.95 too. I would suggest that you purchase the KD belts one size larger than you normally do...

A Best Buy For Those On A Tight Budget!
Black Karate Uniform
Others have already posted a good deal of info about this uniform but I'll add a little to the discussion too:
5 Stars given for the low price & high value of this gi. That said while this uniform is advertised as Middleweight I would personally call the material lightweight. What EVERYONE else refers to as lightweight material I call "paperweight material" FWIW.
If your a big, tall fattie like me (last night I was working out with a local Goju-Ryu instructor who jokingly said, "Hey Bman, you better spend less time power lifting and start jogging again as your almost fat enough to be a Kenpo Grand Master"... I have never and now will never tell him that I also earned a dan ranking in Chinese Kenpo in my youth;-) who wears a size 7 or 8 Made in Japan or M-I-USA uniforms I'd suggest that you purchase this black M-I Pakistan Gi TWO or perhaps 3 sizes LARGER that your usual premium gi and hem as needed.
I'm 6'4 and weigh 358 lbs and the jacket sleeves (size Ju)were about an inch and a half too long and unless you play in the NBA you will probably have to hem the pants too... The elastic band pants sure beats the old tie-string designed pants IMO.
For $29.95 with ALMOST free FedEx Ground Shipping the purchase of this gi was a nobrainer. I ordered on a Tues. afternoon and it arrived THE NEXT DAY.
Now that is what I call EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE... THANKS Karate Depot!!!
Merry Christmas to all and now I'll bow out and end my review...Osu!
