I've had this set for over a year and it's still holding together.

-Kicks-
The black part of the foot straps has worn off and the red is showing through, but there's no tearing anywhere.

-Gloves-
Once sweat builds up during some heavy sparring matches, the gloves can slip off easily. Also occasionally when I block, my thumb has been bent backwards. This is really an issue with me not making a fist more than the product itself. Though I did recently end up getting some Everlast boxing gloves which I like a lot better. Tournaments however seem to require these foam dipped gloves.

-Head-
I've analyzed this headgear against other designs. I've seen people with gear that wraps a bit more around their face. This offers more protection but they complained that it limited their visibility. Ultimately they ended up getting gear designed more like this headgear.

-Karate Depot-

My 9 year old son has been using this set for a year. The gear is holding together very well, though he's not the most aggressive martial artist.  Permalink

I've been using these over a year and they're still going strong. Sweat could eventually cause them to smell, so I've thrown these into the washer/dryer and they're still holding up well.  Permalink

These Kuma Kicks work and fit very well. I really like Karate Depot's sizing charts and the ability to order various gear sizes when ordering a set.  Permalink
