not sure if it will be able to hold up
Rubber Foam Bo

I have a few friends who want to get into sparing and since the bow was my choice back when i did martial arts (and havent let it slip always love to practice it when i get the chance) but i dont want to hurt them and i've broken solid oak staffs 1 inch thick just in practice they where from century. i really dont think this will hold up to long even if it is just used lighly and just something for all the people wondering about size i find if you are confortable with a particular length there are pro and cons to it all. i work with everything 4-10ft in lenght (10ft just to anoy people who say it cant be done even though it's extra slow and slugish)

Red Oak Bo Staff

well it's really late but that's happend to me with solid oak but it was in a 4ft staff (was very short then) first staf i ever broke scared me since my partner was coming in with an over head and he had a solid oak as well but that was due to termites in the stock so the entire shipment was bad they replaced it in the dojo's shop for me at no charge even though we didnt buy it from them
