wp-ke-06 Bokken

5 out of 5 stars

As most everyone seems to have mentioned...there are better quality bokken out there, but none for anything close to this price. I bought three of these for kenjutsu kata. They handle well and can withstand numerous strikes without significant damage. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good workout device, but don't hit people or breakable items with them. :-)

wp-sw-99 Rubber Foam Practice Sword

1 out of 5 stars

The shipping is excellent, and upon initial inspection the products quite fine, but they are not very strong at all. I bought four to help fill gaps in my dojo's equipment. I broke one myself without even hitting another object. The sword was simply not strong enough to cope with the stresses involved in a thorough exercise. Since then another of the initial four has been broken, and I have retired the remainder for children's exercises only. I don't even want to consider what would happen if you struck them against something solid.
