The staff is fine but I expected it to be more than a plastic with tape on it. Probably cost around 1 dollar for them to make. I am a 3rd in Bo Jitsu so I know I good staff when I see one. It is purely for show, if you hit it against anything at all it will not be good. If it cost 20-30 bucks, It would be amazing because it is a perfect staff for demos but it is also a major rip off. Well made, shipped in a protective tube that did its job perfectly. Good weight and great balance. Makes a statement when used in front of judges and audiences. I am well pleased with this product.

This is a great demo staff. However, if you plan to make any contact, I would not recommend. Care is required to maintain the surface. I would strongly recommend purchasing a case. Permalink

I've trained in the martial arts for aproximate 10 years now. I've never had such a bo staff in my life. I brought this staff for a testing that i have and i was able to manuver this staff very easy. I just can't get over how light this bo staff is. I highly recomend spending the money on this product. Two thumbs up! Permalink
