Composite reinforcement collars and threaded, zinc-plated assembly shaft assure superior strength at the joint and consistent alignment between the two sections
Constructed of hard rock maple
Stained with high pigment stains to create deep and rich colors

Careful

Wife and I have taken karate for 4-6 years. Bought her this nice 2 piece 5 foot bow so that she could strap it to her bag. 1st bow showed up broken. Got a 2nd from Karate Depot, they were excellent about sending 2nd. Wife was practicing one day and hit tip on the ground doing a spin move, bow snapped like a twig about 6 inches from end. Bow at that time was only Though I love Karate Depot and have bought many products from them, this is one item I'd not buy again. Permalink

I practice karate and kobudo for 14 years and this bo is the best I got. I hit with it, bo on bo, hard as I broke some standard wood bo and it only did minimal marks on it. I got it in my 9th year of practicing and it's almost always brand new. Permalink
