The case itself is very nice and good quality. Plenty of room for 3 staffs. I did find that the strap is a little inconvenient for short people. Being barely 5'3 and carrying a 5' staff, the strap, even at it's tightest (which is too tight to wear comfortably) the case still hangs too low, nearly dragging on the ground. I also had to tie a shoe lace to the top of the strap to tie down the extra prtion of the case that was hanging due to carrying a short staff. Otherwise the case is nice. Not bad for the money I would say, and probably would be better for a taller person than I.  Permalink

I haven't had the case long enough to comment on its durability, but the appearance and protective qualities of it are good. I keep a jo and a bokken in it, so I would have liked a larger zipper access, just to be able to get the shorter bokken out more easily.   Permalink

Shipping was super fast. I purchased 2 cases for my son and for his team mate at their dojo. It fits perfectly with my son's 6 ft. Bo. His buddy's only 5 ft but his mom was able to fold the bottom and secure it with velcro, for now. Great case! It protects the Bo. The only thing was the lining has a touch of light pink compared to the photo on the website. But other than that we are satisfied with the purchase. I recently purchased the 6ft long, 1-1/4" diameter straight hardwood bo staff from Karate Depot. I purchased this carrying case through Amazon.com for an easier way to transport it to and from martial arts club sessions on campus at college as well as to protect it from rain or snow while carrying.

There's a thin layer of foam padding between the outer vinyl and inner felt to protect your equipment. My bo staff just fits inside lengthwise with room to zip the case shut. It zips across the top, and then about 11 inches down the side to insert or remove your weapon(s). There seems to be plenty of room for a second staff. The case easily folds up when empty.

There's an adjustable sling to carry the case over your shoulder. I'm 5'2" tall, and carrying it this way is just a bit awkward, because the bottom of the case almost touches the ground and the strap is a bit tight. But it works, and it sure beats trying to carry my staff around campus any other way, and it frees up my hands completely.

If you need to carry your bo staff from place to place, or use more than one staff, I would recommend this case.  Permalink

Great case for a Bo Staff. It arrived in a timely manner, was securely wrapped and carefully packaged. I prefer vinyl to canvas. The case is great for my 9 yr son for Taekwondo. My only gripe is that it is too long for a 5ft bo staff. I thought I was careful when measuring and estimating, but I am off. No big. It's a keeper. I like the lining.  Permalink

Well it's made in China and it does not look like it will last more than one year with regular use. It looks like the shoulder strap could use some reinforcement but we'll see, I've only had it about a week.

This bag is great! I have three bo staffs and all three fit perfectly. I even have one that's longer than the bag, 6' 10", and it still keeps the rest of them contained. Fits great, and looks great! Great for anyone that's average height and uses more than one staff!  Permalink

Very light and can fold empty into a very small space. The carrying strap adjusts very well to fit a wide variety of different sized people. I highly recommend it!  Permalink
