For the idiots complaining about differences in weight and diameter, you might want to read the product description before you go around buying products. Pretty disappointed with these sticks. I bought two and they are completely different sizes. At least 1/2 inch difference in the diameter of them. That would be fine for single stick fighting, but that's not what I use them for. The quality seemed okay, but I ordered another set from another company and they are much higher quality and better matched (for about the same price). I will keep this set as a back up. My other experiences ordering from this company have been really good - hope this was just a fluke and not a sign of things to come.   Permalink

I wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering. One stick was really nice. The other stick was not. It is really crooked on one end. I felt bad this is what I got for my daughter. Not worth the cost of sending back. Learned a lesson with this company.  Permalink

I ordered 2 Deluxe Escrima sticks and a case. First of all, when my order was shipped, the case was sent but the sticks were left out. Not quite sure how they managed to only remember 1 of the three items on the packing slip; perhaps it had something to do with the shape of the box they chose to ship my item in--overly large for the small (folded) case, but no way long enough to accommodate two 26" sticks... Anyways, the company was at least prompt in responding to my complaint that I did not receive my full order, although I got the impression that they did not believe me (just because you claim the order has been marked as "complete" in your system does not mean it was done properly...). They did send new sticks, which I appreciate, but they were a real pain to finally get, since they were sent through the regular mail w/ Delivery Confirmation and I needed to go to the Post Office to track them down. When I finally got the darn things, I was very disappointed to see that the two sticks were markedly different in diameter. Yes, I understand they are wood and will not be a perfect match, but these aren't even close! (And everyone else in my martial arts class that already owns sticks seems to have had no problems in getting matching sticks.) Also, a few people have mentioned the annoying sticker, and I will agree that that was an additional headache. I honestly did not think it was worth it to go through the trouble of sending the sticks back (which would require me to pay the shipping), so I will use them, but I am highly unsatisfied with the whole experience and probably will not be ordering from this company again.  Permalink

The quality is just really crappy. These sticks are skinnier than the average stick. I bought two to use together. They are completely different and the bands are not at the same intervals. One of the sticks has a spot where it looks like someone ground down a circle around it about two inches wide all the way around. I'm basically just going to use these until they break, which I don't expect to be very long, and then I'll buy some better ones.

Don't buy these, spend a few bucks more and get some better ones.  Permalink

The sticks were sanded off, but there was an area where I could have picked up a splinter, or worse, so I had to clip that area off the stick. Otherwise for the pice, they were acceptable for basic training.

I got these today and I wasn't sure that what I got was the deluxe escrima stick. The nodes were sanded off, but they were done unevenly. If you ran a pencil along side it, you will see dips, some smaller some larger. The sanding seems to have been done after the clear coat finish which flakes off easily. I will be using them only for practice and beginning Cali so I guess the quality doesn't really matter. I'm just a bit disappointed in the quality regarding what is "deluxe" versus "regular". I'll see after a few weeks how they fare.  Permalink

Great product. Good balance. But I have to agree with the other review, sticker was a pain to get off. But all in all I love it. Will likely by another to complete the pair.  Permalink

It's great. Unfortunately it comes with a sticker saying it's dangerous, which leaves glue on the stick when you take it off. C'mon guys, it's a martial arts weapon.  Permalink

The quality of the product is VERY GOOD that has never been the problem. What you have to look for is that the sticks are the same size and this should be done (at time of shipping). To better your odds buy 4 pcs and keep the other 2 weapons as backup..   Permalink

this wasn't what I expected but its great for you escrima fans, it got rammed with an iron base ball bat and nothing .. its great and strong, good weight to.. I have a karate friend and he came over and used it ..wow its good  Permalink
