I have been practicing Arnis for 20yrs. now and I only suggest Wax Wood and Kamagon Wood Arnis/Escrima sticks because of the weight and the durability. Wax Wood is great for training and demos because of the weight and color. Not to mention Wax Wood is so well balanced.

I bought this a while ago and it has always been very durable. Because it's made from white wax wood, it will dent before it breaks and even denting it is hard. I don't use it anymore because me and my friends tried to wrap it with a nunchaku so the opponent couldn't hold it and my friend twisted it out of the chain which left long grooves in it. As long as you don't use it on a nunchaku chain it should hold up to whatever you do.

I like these escrimas because they are a perfect weight for spins and won't bounce out of your hands. They are balanced and the color is pleasing. After I purchased them the style became very popular at the dojo I go to.
