Light surprise weapons

These tend to be a great weapon for women who don't want to look to obvious when carrying weapons. When used properly they can be the best defensive weapons you have. But don't let the look fool you they have a great attack strength as well, and since it is made of aluminum it will last you quite a while. Permalink

Fighting Fan Blues

I ordered the fighting fan a while back. I found that it was the best fighting fan ever! I was always being asked where I got my fighting fan, and I told people that if they have to ask they don't deserve it. Permalink

I'm not sure on the state-to-state specifics about carrying fighting fans, although they are a pretty innocuous item so my suspicion is that there aren't any laws against them.

These are indeed good quality and are durable when used as intended (meaning when open they aren't designed to take hard blocks or create cuts).

The fighting fan is a versatile weapon that can be used both open and closed. When closed, it creates a durable thrusting weapon to the face, eyes, etc. When open it can be used to distract and disorient attackers. The benefit of the fighting fan is that it can be carried without being obvious as a weapon. To learn more about using the fan properly, consult a skilled instructor in your area.
