When I first got these I was VERY happy with them. They were well balanced, a good weight, and seemed to be well made. When performing Tozan No Nicho Kama the wooden blades hit and the tip of one broke off. Upon inspection the blade on that kama had a crack through the middle of it (flat side). After two weeks my daughter dropped it and the blade broke off where the blade meets the handle. I have since ordered another pair and hope they last a bit longer. For the price I really shouldn't complain but I was hoping they wouldn't break so easily. Permalink

Great Kama

These wooden kama are perfectly balenced. You can toss them in the air, 360s, and backhand. But, after a while of contact, the blade cracked about 3-4 in the blade. Permalink

Great for Solo Practice

I've had these for about 6 months and I see no change in the construction of my kamas. The blade has not come loose at all. They are great for practice. However, I would not use them in practice against another weapon in fear of breaking the blade off. Permalink
