If you're going to use these kamas in a high-end tournament I wouldn't advise it, though they work very well anywhere else. They are very durable, I've had mine for a few years now. Though the metal has come loose and everytime I use it it clicks, I don't think it will fly off. The clicking just adds a nice effect to the kama. I advise to buy these for the cheap price they are offered; these kamas work very well.

These are really cool kamas. The look cool and dont slip out of your hands when you twirl or do advanced forms. These are great for practicing, and if your son or daughter wants some, these are for them. They are as safe as genuine kamas (kamas that aren't made of foam) can get.
