I have been doing exercises with my suburi bokken for 7 months and my wrists and forearms have become very strong. I have an explosive power now that surprises me. I am very pleased. I definitely recommend this bokken for anyone who wants to develop power. I plan to pick up another one just to have around.

Very strong, adds good mobility to your movements, caution though may cause lasting damage to the wrists, start off with a lite suburi first before using this one, you won't be disappointed!

This bokken has the weight and feel of a sword, though it has more air resistance. That, however, is also an advantage in a practice weapon. The price may seem high, but what would it cost in your time to make one yourself?

I bought this bokken about a year and a half ago, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The bokken is very heavy, so it is useful for muscle building. The bokken is also very sturdy. I'm sure that if you clashed this together with a baseball bat (wooden, of course), the bat would snap like a twig. I expect this bokken will last me years and years. This is my first bokken, and there's no way that many of them can be this good. Excellent buy, you won't be disappointed.
