I bought this bokken for my daughter to do entry level practice. I was very pleased with the level of craftsmanship of the sword and its scabbard. I have had many compliments on this bokken and have been pleased with its weight, balance and the realism that comes from having the extras on this bokken above the usual smooth wood of other practice models.
