I bought this item, and while it is a great tool and sometimes weapon, be sure you understand what you are getting into. If you don't you can easily hurt yourself. I've been climbing ropes, trees, and buildings for a long time with hooks and ropes. The rope it comes with, I really doubt there is a few that climb it. It would be better to get a synthetic rope to add to it for better climbing. Good item, only limit is how far you can throw. Be sure to at least ask someone with experience, thusly you'll have a more pleasant time using this tool. Permalink

The moment I got this me and my friend instantly used it to climb over this 12' wall in my backyard, and it hooked onto anything we needed it to. We dropped it from the wall once and it barely had any scratches, and no dents or damage. The folding action takes maybe 5 seconds. Buy this, and you will become super! Permalink
