Product Description
    • Longer upper provides additional support
    • Made from thick canvas and rubber
    • Traditional split-toe design and ridged rubber sole improve traction
    • Velcro closure along the back of the boot
    • Also available in a short version

These tabi boots feature a longer upper made from thick canvas material to provide additional support. The toe and heel of the boot feature reinforced stitching. The sole is rubber with a traditional split-toe design, this enables the shoe to enhance the natural traction of the foot while protecting it from the elements. The design also reduces the noise emitted from walking and running. Also available in a short version.

These shoes are designed to fit very tightly around the foot. If you would prefer a more comfortable, sneaker-like fit, consider ordering one size larger than what you would normally wear.

These boots are easy to put on, stay on well, and have great grip. Don't get it in too large of a size or else your ankle will slide. The only bad thing is that you can't move your big toe at all.

I got these boots for Xmas after wanting a pair FOREVER! I hardly take them off now. Unless I'm hitting the gym, running long distance, or going to work (boss would frown that they wouldn't match my suit), I'm wearing these boots. I don't use them in my martial arts (still go barefoot thanks), but they are great for everything else. Just FYI, I wear a size 10 1/2 shoe and got a size 10. They fit great, but took about a week of constant wearing to get them stretched out. Made the toes a little sore that first week, but I was expecting that and they are a perfect fit now!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Thank god i am a sewer for if not these boots would not stand up to light walking let alone sparing. I have sent back this product 3 times and each time they split at the back seam by the Velcro... and once repaired the Velcro unravels and falls off. Dont wast your money on this product.

I got them to replace my old Tabi boots. My old tabi boots had cheap metal faseners with cloth loops and I didn't like wearing them, but these Tabi have a Velcro closure along the back of the boot which makes it easier to put on and wear. I find myself wearing them even when I'm not wearing my shinobi Shozoko (Ninja Gi). They are great!!!! I give them 5 shurikens. (LOL)

These are very nice Tabi boots. They look and function as traditional tabi boots. The velcro works fine (it is not noisy.) The soles came different than the picture displayed, they arrived with a GOOD traction. I am very happy with the quality of the boots. My only complaint is that there is a small gap in the back near the heel because of the Velcro. My feet fit fine from toe to back. but because of the Velcro and my thin ankles there is a space there that takes some getting used to. I'm not sure if a size smaller would have helped or been too small to get on.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable, I was pretty not sure not to order them because of the different shoes sizes, but ordering them a two sizes smaller than your normal size does work. And they are so silent, I even sneak up on my mother while wearing them and the ninja uniform to give them a test for my senior high school project, and they pass, even though, I got threaten from my mother. It was worth it.

Instant ninja ability!!

These boots are incredible. Once I put them on, I don't want to take them off! They are absolutely silent, and great for climbing. Definitely buy a size smaller so you can fill the space.

If you are even considering buying a pair of these shoes, I offer you this advice, DO IT! For one thing they look and feel awesome. You will never want to take them off. They are also VERY VERY light, extremely silent, and make climbing a breeze. For their relatively low price, these are an excellent buy. Even if you don't have any interest in climbing, sneaking, or looking awesome, BUY THESE ANYWAY. They are the best shoes you will ever have.

Great buy.....

I normally wear a size 12 so I ordered a size 11 and found it a little loose, not too bad just around the ankle and heel. however I found that if you through them in the washing machine on a Hot/Warm cycle and then the dryer on High Heat or Towel dry it shrinks them down to a perfect size (for me at least) and they hold up very well in the machine. So if you find them a tad loose try this out. All and all a great buy

A bit narrow.

Sizing is good as far as the foot sizing goes, but they are a wee-bit narrow where the ankle joins to the calf. Takes a bit of working to get on, velcro isn't too bad, and they're really comfy once they're on.

A great buy

Takes a while to get used to them, but once you do, you'll love them. And sometimes it's just a matter of how you velcro the boots that makes them comfortable. But get it right, and you'll never want to take them off.

Much like the guy above me says, getting a size smaller is definetely the best path. You've gotta fill that space, otherwise they flop around annoyingly like mine do unless I wear 2-4 pairs of socks beneath.

They're very comfortable, kind of difficult to tuck pantlegs into them, but still, they are very quiet and make climbing and running a breeze, and you can also feel the ground beneath you very well, almost like a pair of slippersocks with rugged rubber soles.

You might consider getting some insoles from a pair of slippers, though, the foam inserts, because these have no insole paddings.

Otherwise, an excellent buy.

Just like the real thing

Because of the size difference you should order a size smaller for a better fit. These are super comfortable and super quiet. Plus they look really neat on you.

It's great and that says it all!

First of all, if you want to order a pair always order the boots a size smaller if you like a 11 and a half, then order a size 11. If your size 8 1\2, get a size 8( trust me!). The boots are very comfortable, I recommend to buy the socks that go with them. There easy to put on, they barely make any noise when you walk. You'll love them if you're into ninjutsu. Once you put them on, you'll never want to take them off.
