Great socks! I've been wearing these for two years with every shoe and boot I own; they are durable and comfortable. They have also probably saved me from expensive foot surgery, since my toes were trying to cross. The Tabi separation has made me pain-free and surgeon-free.  Permalink

The socks look long in the photo, then when you wear them, they barely go up your leg. They do not cover the length of the boot and are almost see-through nylon. They are the equivalent of a very thin dress sock. And I suggest use lotion on your feet. They are very snaggy, and like to be a tad constrictive. Not bad if thats what you're into. but I like my socks to cover the same area my boot/shoe is going to be covering to prevent rubbing etc.. They should have socks that match the size of the shoes. i.e. If you get a size 9 tabi boot, you get size 9 socks. not a 9 boot and size 7 socks... it just doesn't make sense.
I was actually going to return them but I didn't know if I could or not after trying them on. So I'll keep them around as a last resort if all my other socks are dirty or magically dissapear.  Permalink

These fit great except around my calves. I have big calves and it's just a little too snug for me but you can't beat the price.  Permalink

The socks themselves are great. They fit nicely, and they're comfortable. They're definitely not thin like dress socks so I don't understand that comment.
Yes, they do stick to the shoes, but that's a problem with the shoe not the sock. If you have a problem with the sock getting stuck, I would either be more patient when putting your tabi boots on, or I would opt for the kind with the metal fasteners. All in all, the socks are great.  Permalink

Like others have said regular sock + tabi boots = bad. These look and feel great. stitching on toes is visible and seems like it might give at any time but maybe i am just paranoid. anyhow. great purchase will for sure recommend.  Permalink

First off Tabi socks are traditional, and meant to be a bit snug like a second skin, that's why when you wear tabi boots that are also flexible your socks aren't getting in the way of movement. If the split is halfway down between your toes, then they are too small, or you need to adjust the sides accordingly to give enough fabric to cover all the way inside between the toes. And last, if you have velcro tabi you have cheap tabi, because the velcro sticks to everything and wears out shortly.  Permalink

Very comfortable, they are a little strange at first, but they are easy to get used to. The only reason I didn't give them a five was because they are a little thin, much like men's dress socks, or thinner. Sometimes I wear two pairs at a time.  Permalink

Maybe it's just me, but these socks are not as comfortable as not wearing them. The split-toe goes about half-way down the toes, the nylon feels uncomfortable against the skin, and they stick to the velcro fastening the tabis. I dunno, I hate socks normally, but these don't feel either natural or comfortable to me.  Permalink

I bought them along with the tabi boots, and they seemed fine except for one major problem when I tried to put on the boots, the velcro on the boots sticks to the sock and tears it apart. Since I did'nt want to ruin my new socks, I decided to wear a normal pair and it works perfectly if you make a crease in the toe of the normal sock. Therefore, the tabi socks are no easier to use than normal socks.  Permalink

these shoes were described accurately and are a snug fit. they were shipped in a very timely matter....they are a must have if you have tabi boots are geta slippers because wearing normal socks just won't work.  Permalink

When you get them they look like they wont fit, they 're a little annoying to get on but incredible comfortable once you get used to the spilt toe.  Permalink
