This is an awesome sword. It is perfect for sparring...the only problem is the white piece that is supposed to keep the handguard on. I dont understand why they dont just fixate it on. The white piece does not do its job when is spar it comes off. But just glue it and its fine. Permalink

I was let down by this bokken. The only reason I gave it two stars was because it looks nice. Five min into sparring the tsuba snapped in half. another 30 min later the entire thing cracked. I was not abusive, this happened while training with students 9-11 yrs old and they are not that strong. I would only recommend this for display. Permalink
