Small should be fine. Also to get an accurate judgment for the shoe size, measure his foot in inches and compare it to the mens size on this chart - http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html

You'll be able to see the right adult mens size.

COOL!!!

got this in the mail on thursday and i was pleased with my purchased!im here to put my review on this item so here it goes....now im 5'10" and 160 lbs and i ordered a large size and good thing i did because an XL would have been way too big on me.although the sizing chart says otherwise i still got the large. with my height and weight, the large size still has a baggy feel to it. the jacket part fits perfectly, but the pants are BIG! i mean it stretches down to the ground and its really baggy...but the tabi boots that came with this costume compromised the length of the pants coz you can tuck it inside the boots and it will fit just fine!now speaking of tabi boots you should really buy the high cut boots if youre buying this uniform separately.it looks way cooler than the short ones! about the shoe size. you should definitely go down your original size coz this is not your regular tennis shoes, it doesnt have padding inside and i think it is made out of canvas like material(like coverse shoes). so definitely go down a size and it still fit you well.the mask on the other hand is a tad bit big on my head considering the fact that it's stretchable. not a problem though. the only downside about this review is the so called "instruction"...how do i put it into simple sentence....oh yeah it's like deciphering a bomb!crazy on how they come up with this how-to-instructions!all in all, i am satisfied now that i can be a ninja doing ninja things. hope this review helps for everyone that is unsure of the sizing

Ship Tabi's Later?

I need two of these with Tabi's that you are currently out of stock on. And I need them by Thanksgiving. Is there a way I can order these with the sizes I need, receive what you have in stock now, and then have you ship the Tabi's when they come in?

I can live without the boots if they don't make it in time. But this is the best priced package and is exactly what I'm looking for, so I would prefer to buy this way. The short Tabi's just don't work for me.

Size

I'm 5,5 - 5,6 and extremely ripped, I have very low body fat and only weight 107, what do I abide for? height or weight? I don't want it to be tight or short, I have a very wide back/wings and a long wing span, I don't mind it being loose, which size should I order? Medium (Adult small)?

Also I need tabi size 8 or 8 1/2 when will these sizes be available?

Hey Shino. We are just getting done with the Halloween rush so it might take a month or so for us to get everything back in stock. As for sizes, I think you could fit in a small but medium would provide a little looseness for you.

I'm 6' 135lbs so the size chart doesn't help much... I wear small shirts but large shorts/pants due to length. Ideas? Also is there any way to get the short boots instead?

What about children's shoe sizes

I see you have children's sizes; my son would probably be a XXS. But what about the boots? It looks like the smallest you have is an adult 5, but he needs a kids 13 or 1. Do you not have any that size?

Hi Silent. We go as small as 4's in the short tabi: wp-ni-13. Unfortunately that's about it for right now so you would need to fill that gap with some double or triple sock wearing.

Hi Stealth. Always go by height first and foremost. You can compensate for the extra width by tying it tighter or getting it altered.

I'm 5,5 - 5,6 and have around 3% body fat, I only weight 100 pounds, I don't want something to be short on me but I don't need it too baggy. Medium or small? Payment

I was kind of disappointed when I went to buy this and other gear the total sum was about $300 I was happy to get it all having $650 on my Paypal but when I went to check out there was no Paypal option? Will Paypal payments be added in near future? or will I be forced to find a different merchant? I really want to buy it here but have no funds outside of paypal.

RE RESPONSE: I am aware of Google check out, but you do know all of your items are baned from google? Google disallows purchase of weapons, and it reads the climbing claws, shuriken, and uniform as weapons.

Very Kool Uniform

Overall I am very pleased with what I got. For the price it cannot be beat. The jacket fits like a glove and feels good. The pants are really good. They feel comfortable to wear. The tabbi boots and socks are really good. Yes go a size down. Im 10.5. So I went with 10 and fits very good. The material is thick and not costumer like. Has a real good feel to it. The bokken is really kool. The mask is ok. The gauntlets are ok. Overall an excellent buy for anyone whos starting out to be a ninja.

Great Stuff

Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to wear a ninja costume so I bought this Deluxe one and am extremely satisfied. I am 6'3 223lbs and I ordered the XXL seeing that it is equal to XL clothes, the jacket fit perfectly but the pants are a little to big but with the ties the pants fit good. I wonder how an XL uniform would of fit me but i am extremely satisfied with my selection and going with the long tabi boots is the way to go it just looks awesome!! Highly recommend this uniform! Also I wear a size 13 shoe and ordered 13 tabi boots and they fit just right so I would suggest order to your size. Any questions don't hesitate to ask me.

Good buy

I read all the reviews before purchasing, and was hesitant about the size to buy (I am 6"1, 145lbs). I got a large, and it fits very well. As for the tabi boots, everyone had said to buy one size down, and a few said to buy the same size.. I went with my normal shoe size (12) and they also fit very well. The uniform is not made of cheap material and feels fairly durable.

As for the tabi boots .. very comfortable, easy to walk around in. They are very, very quiet (as advertised) except for the occasional sound of the Velcro moving, but you have to actually be listening for the sound to hear it, so it's minor.

The bokken appears to be fairly durable. It could survive some rough hits against hard objects and has a nice weight to it.

All in all, I'm happy with the buy.. for $60 you can't go wrong :)

Shinobi-nin
I went with an XXL sized uniform because I knew it would shrink after a washing and drying. I highly recommend hang drying. I also wear a 10 and 1/2 sized shoe, but went with size 10 Tabi Boots and they fit well. Definitely go smaller when choosing a size for the boots, rather than larger. I had to make some tailoring adjustments to one of the gauntlets as well, because one was poorly crafted and way too large compared to the other one. It turned out well.

I think a size small would be a snug fit and a medium would be looser but you would fit in either. We don't offer a sheath for the ninja bokken at this time; you would have to grab either this sword: wp-ke-55 or this sword: wp-ke-21.

Hope that helps!

DELUXE NINJA COSTUME

DELUXE NINJA COSTUME
Great Costume!!! Love the outfit! Everything fit great! The direction was kind of weird, but I figured it out. Nice cloth instead of cheap silky cloth. The tabi boots are very comfortable, I love them. Everything looks so cool! The only difference I did with mine was I sew some velcros on my hood and string to make them stay on my face tight and so they wont come loose. Oh and one other thing I liked was the Ninja Bokken. I painted my Bokken and made my own Sheath. Overall I would recommend this to everyone! Thanks alot!

Hi karatefan. While I think he could fit into a large, the XL is probably the safest choice for him, especially if it shrinks down in the wash a little. This uniform comes with boots, so opt for the size 13.

I am 5'8" and 190 lbs with an athletic build. What size uniform do you think I should buy? I also wear a 10.5 mens US shoe.

I think the size large would be your best bet. As for shoes, I would bump up to the 11.

I think a size 4 would be best. When you add this item to your cart and go to 'checkout' you'll be able to see shipping options and predicted shipment times. We can ship throughout the USA fairly quickly though.

Sizing help

I'm 5'6, 210lbs. Waist size is 36-38mens. Shoe size is 8 in mens. I'm not super big, i'm more dense because of muscle. What size should I go for. Thanks!

I think you could do a large and be comfortable. The shoe size is roughly comparable - a size 8 tabi would be fine.

What size should I get?

So I'm 5'10.5", and 120-125 pounds. What size would you recommend? Should I go with the large for the length reassurance or the medium for the more snug fit?

I'd ave to recommend the medium. I think you'll be happier with the way it fits on the body.

Uniform Quality Costume

My thirteen year old son ordered this. It was shipped quickly, and we are pleased with the value. The material is of the same quality as his karate uniform which we purchased through his dojo. I was impressed with all that was including in the package. The training sword is the same sword that they use at the local dojo as well. Thanks!

Different Fabric Colors?

I'm going to buy the Deluxe Ninja Costume, but I was wondering if KD can have these same costumes made with different colored Fabric? White, for example. I would buy multiple Deluxe Ninja Costumes if you had other colors to choose from. What do you guys think?

Hi Joe. We don't actually manufacture these items so we can't control the colors. If the manufacturer decides to branch out into new colors we'll get them up on our site!

You could definitely fit in the L, but it might feel a bit snug. The xl is the safe bet.

Wrong size shipped.

Pretty nice I suppose, I would love to write a longer review, but having just received mine from UPS, I was able to discover that they sent me the wrong size Tabi boots, ordered 13 or 47.5, they sent me size 12 or 46. Boots are unwearable as my heel hangs off the edge of the sole painfully. RMAing.

Height-wise you are good for a medium, however a large would probably be the most comfortable for your frame.

Hi Anti. I'm a bit confused by this situation. Are you shipping it overseas to a non-U.S. country? That should be the only way shipping gets pricey like that. All U.S. shipping is free. More info can be had here - http://www.karatedepot.com/csupport-faq.html#arrive.

what size do you suggest i get?

really keen, just a little query about what you suggest for the sizes because i live in Australia;
male, thin and slightly broad shoulders.
height: 180cm = 5 foot, 11 inches.
weight: 70kg = 154 pounds.
shoe size: 27.5cm = 10.8 inches OR size 9 Australian = size 10 US/Canada.
