I own two pairs and they are great for practice due to their weights. The octagon style took me a while to get used to (I used round ones for a long time). The only drawback is they get a little dinged up after extensive use, but what wooden weapon doesn't? Permalink

These are a wonderful weapon for novice and advanced users or anyone in between. I used these as my first weapon. They are quite heavy, however with practice you can adjust very easily. I would recommend not to hit yourself with them (but lets face it we all have those mistakes) but these are truly a great weapon. Permalink

I've always cherished the White Wax Wood that is only found and harvested in the northern regions of China. When this Nunchaku got to my home, I was very anxious to put them to the test. The White Wax Octagon Ball Bearing Nunchaku, is definitely 5 star worthy. Why? They passed all the ironhanded tests. These are a GREAT buy. ( Great for practice ) Permalink
