After practicing with my red oak nunchaku, I found that these are incredibly lightweight; I thought these would break pretty easily but I know they're made of rattan so they wont. The reason why I gave them 4 stars was because I found that the enamel tends to chip easily around the burn marks. Other than that, these nunchaku are awesome.

not too bad...

Got these today. Bought on others recommendations on this site. They weren't as pretty as the picture, no clearcoat and burn pattern isn't the same but they are very light and very fast. Good for practice but misleading because my favorite pair is heavier and smoother. I would recommend for beginners or for trying new moves because they don't hurt when you mess up and you can slow/ stop them quickly.

Disappointed.

I ordered a pair of these a couple of weeks ago, and they have a few problems (at least my pair does...)
1. Mine were weighted differently! I even checked out the weight on a scale, and they were different. This is a major problem, -2 stars.
2. The rattan wood this pair uses is sub-par. After just a couple of days, the sticks had huge chunks missing from them, because of the wood peeling. -1/2 star
3. Ball bearings wear out fast, they were sticking when I first got them, even when I repaired them a bit with lube and securing them, they still were slower compared to other pairs I have. -1/2 star.

Not Bad!

These are not bad for practice, the bearings are very smooth and allow for impressive speed and control without excessive noise. The wood could have been fitted to the coupler a little better in order to bring the appearance up to the level of the utility. Overall a good investment in practice gear.

Thank God!

The story about me coming to order these was while practicing I broke a bearing on the set that I was using...but they were fading anyway...so instead of buying a bearing repair set, I ordered these. I was skeptical about ordering these because I really like my old pair. These are 100% unbelievable. They are fast and light and better then any pair that I can remember using. BUY THIS NOW! is all I can say. 5 stars!

At last......

An amazingly beautifully crafted nunchaku. It is amazing the speeds at which you can get these to fly. I absolutely think that these are the best thing for beginner and expert alike. You can see the very cool burn lines as you are swinging them. I certainly say, ''BUY THIS PRODUCT''

These chucks are the perfect balance of the right weight chain, the right weight sticks and a wonderfully efficient ball bearing system. The weight is perfect which makes these chucks wonderfully fun and fluid to use.
Of all my nunchakus these are my favorite. You may want to tap the surface down with a hammer to make them feel more compact.
