    Great

    This was my first professional pair of numbchucks. The chain is very short and its pretty noisy when your swingy them around. I dont know if thats normal cause its my first pair with a chain and everything but. Their sturdy. Great value. Definitely recommend them.

    Round Black Studded Nunchaku

    nunchaku authenticity

    my question is-are these nunchaku durable..by durable i mean if they happen to fall or actually make contact with people (conflicts) will they stand the durable test? are these nunchaku make the same way they made the older nunchaku? my brother has had his pair for about 15 years..solid wood, strong chain etc..will the nunchaku i purchase from this site be a solid, strong, durable product? and i mean, while making contact with solid objects..the concrete, skulls, hah. this question came along because i have had a confrontation and outnumbered by drunk people. 1st strike-downed the aggressor, 2nd strike-stunned the aggressor but nunchaku broke on the the front skull and the chain came out from the bearings...i want a strong weapon to further DEFEND myself

    Hi Michaelangelo. In my experience chorded nunchaku hold up really well so long as the wood is quality. These are fairly heavy duty as well so if it's going to break anywhere, it will be at the ball bearing like any other chained nunchaku. The wood and studs are quite durable.

    Used as a weapon?

    *i think* these would be the best chucks for say, a fight. but im still curious. should i get these, hide a chuck, or something else?

    Smooth, Sturdy and Fast

    They work very smoothly, have a really good weight to them, and you will know if you make a mistake in practice. You definitely get your bang for the buck.

    Repair Kits?

    Can someone tell me if there repair kits on Karate Depot or anywhere else for chain-style nunchaku? Or am I just screwed every time they break? This buying new nunchucks every time my old pair breaks stuff's gettin old.

    Hey Treva - Unfortunately we do not have any repair kits for chain style nunchaku, and I have been unable to locate any on other sites. Perhaps for your impact training you could switch to corded nunchaku (which has repair kits - http://www.karatedepot.com/wp-nu-33.html), and then use chain for demos and the like.

    The ball bearing is very smooth. But it leaves big dents where the studs hit each other. This chuck is faster than normal chucks.

    OK IM IN 4 GRADE I GOT IN A FIGHT AT SCHOOL WITH ALOT OF 5 GRADERS BUT LUCKLY I HAD MY NUNCHUCKS IN MY POCKET THEY WERE THE STUDDED ONES I HIT ALL OF THEM WITH IT IN THE FOURHEAD I GAVE 5 A CUNCUSHUN AND KILLED THE REST THATS MY COMMET. p.S. IF A ROBBER OR BURGLER COMES IN WRERE EVER YOU ARE AND YOU HAVE THESE NUNCHUKS HIT THEM WITH IT IN THE HEAD IT WILL KIIL THEM!

    Excellent!
