The ball bearing is very smooth. But it leaves big dents where the studs hit each other. This chuck is faster than normal chucks.

This was the pair I started with. It was very heavy in the beginning but then I began to get better and when I got better I started going faster which lead to bleeding many bruises. It was well worth it because when picked my second pair it was extremely easy. Also the studs build up calluses and look scary to someone who wants to fight. A great set for a beginner.

this is my second pair of nunchucks- my first was the super light rattan ones. i've long since become proficient with those, so i felt it was time to start practicing w/ a heavier one. This pair feels much more substantial, but it's not a good idea to start off w/ these... it's harder to control, and the studs make it dangerous for newbies. the wood's not great quality, otherwise, it's pretty much as it looks.

A solid weapon for an extremely good price. The bearings give a smooth swing each time. Great for anyone looking for a heavier set to develop with.
