Great Sai, I have purchased several of these and the Chrome Sai as well, both for personal use and for other people in my program. No real downsides once you can get over the weight. 4 and 1/2 stars ****- Permalink

When I got these sais I was a little surprised by the weight but you get used to it quickly regardless of your strength. Well balanced, and packs a punch when making contact with something. I would recommend these for anyone starting sais, or even pros. These are also very durable. Unlike most lighter sais, these are the real deal if you know what I mean. They can handle a lot of abuse. I recommend Octagon to anyone, just because it's easier to control. Permalink

Good for practice and a good beginners weapon. The weight is a little hard to get used to but otherwise well balanced. They look excellent in contest. 3.5 stars only because I've got some really nice hand crafted and obviously nicer and I am kinda spoiled by using them regularly. Permalink
