This is definitely more of a display piece, although you could cut yourself with it if you're not careful.

Skeptical...

This tanto looks very beautiful and I am very interested in buying one, but based on the one and only review it has, I'm pretty skeptical about buying one.

I may wait to see if another review is placed soon giving it some positive light... then again, this is just one person's experience, and doesn't automatically mean it will be the same for me or anyone else.

I may just buy one and hope I have a better experience with my purchase, because it does look very good. Is this tanto worth the money, or was that one review a rare and unfortuante happening?

Hey Travis, the backorder situation was definitely rare because we normally pull an item when it is not available. This prevents those kinds of circumstances.

I haven't personally held this item, so I'm not sure if the previous review was accurate or not.

the only thing I liked about this product was the blade on exception that it was damaged. I received it after nearly a month and a half in back order, which has never happened to me before from previous buys. The scabbard is very cheaply made, more so the dragon design looks like a sticker. Overall this is definitely not worth 60 dollars. Permalink
