This sword not particularly flexible. It is designed with more heft than a typical wushu performance sword.

Would this sword be practical to use holding 2 of them?

You could definitely use two at the same time if you were inclined to. However, these models are not the lightest so it might be tougher to whip them around acrobatically.

when you are using two broadswords you would want to use specifically designed broadswords called double broadswords the handles of the double broadswords are cut in half's vertically and are usably kept in the sheath to surprise the enemy so the do not know you are holding two broadswords this sword can be use in doubles but you wont get the same effect as if you were using double broadswords

It's good for practice if you don't want to cut yourself. I recommend it for beginners.

Aluminum swords are made for practice only, so beginners do not cut themselves accidentally. I had one when I started Kung Fu sword with "Plum Blossom" single edge Dao years ago. Decades later I practice with a sharpen heavy steel sword designed and made for combat. Yes, Aluminum is fine for beginner and for rusty old guys getting back into martial arts. Please note that these are not designed or meant to be combat swords at all. You pay for a Volkswagen; don't expect a Cadillac.

The person who posted the comment that this aluminum sword sucks because it is not flexible and not a wushu sword appears to lack knowledge about swords and wushu in general. These are designed and made to replicate kung fu single edge "Darn Dao" swords which are not meant to be flexible. I've seen some Wushu forms using a whip like flexible sword which is not the same as these "Darn Dao" swords. He should seek out the flexible steel type which are sold through various sword websites. I find aluminum blades to be practice only especially for beginners or old guys trying to get back into martial arts again after many years of laid off. Good Luck.

    This thing sucks

This sword sucks for any sort of Wushu practice
    1) the blade is NOT flexible
    2) it's too heavy
    3) the lame cheap sash falls off after 5 minutes. The only good thing is the length of the blade is just about right. So if you practice with this sword then switch to your competition blade you'll notice a significant increase in speed.

If an aluminum sword is to heave for you, you better start eating your wheaties Considering aluminum is one of the lightest materials out there I don't think you have held many swords then as they are much heavier than his aluminum practice sword Also one more thing Short of a cola or a beer can aluminum is not made to be flexible. I'm detecting a bit of buyer's remorse. To no fault of the Dao.
If you want to practice Wushu, perhaps you should buy a Wushu flexible thinner sword & not a Dao. You wouldn't cut your steak with a butter knife would you? Oh wait a minute considering your screen name is Tofu I doubt you cut any steak at all!
