This is the 3rd broadsword I have owned for kung fu exercise. Unlike lightweight Wushu swards, this one gives you a realistic feel when used for practicing traditional broadsword forms. I use it in adult and senior weapon form competitions as well. Although the sashes are made by a low-quality material that does not flow well with movement, the broadsword itself is excellent, definitely worth the money. I would give four-stars to this item. This sword sucks for any sort of Wushu practice 1) the blade is NOT flexible 2) it's too heavy 3) the lame cheap sash falls off after 5 minutes. The only good thing is the length of the blade is just about right. So if you practice with this sword then switch to your competition blade you'll notice a significant increase in speed. Permalink
