last question

Im sorry for asking so many questions, this will probably be my last one. And I'm probably going to order this weapon and i want to know if there is anything i can put on the blade part so that it won't cut me or hurt me while I'm trying to learn how to handle it. And besides this weapon, what would be another cool thing that you would recommend I buy because I am like obsesses with ninjas

No problem CT. One thing you might be able to do is buy black duct tape at any local hardware store and layer that over the blade and point areas.

The ninjutsu bokken is a must have if you're trying to build out a ninjutsu collection: wp-ni-20.

about weapon

this weapon looks really neat, but i want to know 2 things. 1: how would you use this weapon? and 2: does it take a lot of skill and practice to successfully use it and do tricks with it?

This weapon is used to ensnare and entangle opponents. It can be used holding both ends or by throwing and spinning an end. Yes - it takes a whole lot of practice to become proficient.

OK, this weapon looks like it could tangle up a katana pretty well, and i get that it would usually be held by the spike with the ring as a flail. However, for offence, other than pulling the enemy close to stab, do you throw the spike like a sort of shuriken-on-a-leash? It looks like a cool weapon but i'd like to know what its place is in an arsenal with pretty much just one other rope/chain weapon in it.

Hey Incorrect - like a lot of weapons in ninjutsu, the shogee excels at versatility. The blade can be used much like a knife, but with the added hooking benefits of the sickle style blade. The chain can be used to ensnare opponents or their weapons, and could also be used in conjunction with the sickle blade to aid in climbing. This shogee uses a chain which might not support body weight, but some of the earlier models were said to have used horse hair of a much stronger variety.
